As your mayor, I will continue to listen, to learn, and to advocate for Elma. Our future begins with how we treat one another—with kindness, with respect, and with a shared commitment to what unites us rather than what divides us. Honest communication, collaboration, and compassion are essential to building the brighter future we all want for our city.
Elma is growing, and with that growth comes the chance to shape our destiny. I believe we can become a city full of hope—a place where every child can walk safely to school, where families gather in welcoming, well-maintained parks, and where small businesses thrive on Main Street that reflects our community's pride, energy, and potential.
To realize this vision, we must invest in the foundation of Elma’s future. That means upgrading our streets and sidewalks, improving lighting and traffic safety, expanding pedestrian and bicycle access, and making long-overdue improvements to our parks and public spaces. We must also work together to ensure that growth is guided by smart planning and grounded in the values of those who call Elma home.
